Nicholas Sanchez, CEO, MA, LMFT

My greatest goal as your therapist is to create a customized treatment plan that highlights your strengths, joys, and beliefs. When you arrive at the session, I see YOU – not any other client.

One of the strengths that makes me unique within my field is the broad range of experiences I have had with mental health. I have worked in numerous settings and practiced many different types of modalities and approaches to therapy. These combined experiences have allowed me to create a practice that can provide a high level of care while being highly effective for clients.

Work Experience

Since graduating from school, I have honed my skills in providing individual and couples therapy in community and private practice settings.

For over a decade, I have received intensive training in Existential-Integrative Therapy and Psychedlic-Assisted Therapy to address anxiety, depression, and trauma. This approach allows me to create meaningful and lasting change that addresses the ROOT problem rather than JUST treating the symptoms.

In wanting to create massive lifelong change for my clients, I continue to broaden my understanding of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and utilize this approach to address anxiety, depression, addiction, couples conflict, trauma, consciousness expansion, and overall well-being and connection. I specialize in working with MDMA, psilocybin, LSD, DMT, and 5-MeO-DMT. Psychedelics have allowed me to create massive life-shifting changes for my clients while ensuring lasting results and an overwhelming sense of well-being for my clients.

I have also been working with couples my entire career. I use a unique blend of The Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy to recreate the “spark” in couples’ relationships.

Education

I received my BA in Psychology and MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from John F. Kennedy University. I graduated top in my class and led workshops, courses, and weekend training for my colleagues and other professors due to my deep understanding and studies in Existential Psychotherapy.

I continue to receive professional training from The Existential-Humanistic Institute to deepen my understanding of Existential-Integrative & Humanistic Therapy.

After working with shamans for a handful of years to learn how psychedelics have been used from generation to generation in indigenous tribes to battle mental health obstacles, I decided to seek more formal training around psychedelics. I completed my advanced degree in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
