What is here for you right at this very moment? The process of starting a new therapy journey can feel overwhelming, regardless of whether you’re a therapy first-timer or have had your fair share of time on the couch. So take an easy breath with me, and know we can walk into whatever you’re facing together.

Maybe you’re feeling “stuck,” finding yourself unable to make decisions, move forward from an old relationship, or fully transition into a new life circumstance. Maybe you’ve been told that you’re “too much” or worry that you’re “not enough.” Perhaps you’re sitting with painful experiences of grief, loss, isolation, and childhood trauma. When faced with threatening and overwhelming events, we often respond by dissociating from our feelings, compartmentalizing our lives, and hiding parts of who we are that are too painful for us in these moments.

I believe our anxieties, depression, pain, and inner and outer conflicts are rooted in these old survival strategies, thoughts, and belief systems. And I find that the key to resolving these pains lies in welcoming in all parts of ourselves and being with whatever is here – to find out who we are without the painful core beliefs, unhelpful generational patterns, and the survival strategies that hold us hostage.

I am passionate about nurturing you to be more fully yourself by supporting you in embracing all feelings as they arise. I use a humanistic background and somatic lens to foster self-awareness, resilience, ease, and joy in your life. As your therapist, I will dive into the present moment with you, metaphorically holding you through whatever you bring into the room to uncover new stories and lost parts of yourself. I use a combination of psychodynamic, cognitive, and somatic modalities as listed below – but I also draw from the skills I have learned from participating in family constellations practices, Identity-oriented Psycho Trauma Therapy (IoPT) groups, somatic Internal Family Systems (IFS) training, conscious movement practices, and music compilation to assist clients in releasing old wounds and more fully embodying their feelings.

I look forward to welcoming you – all of you – to therapy.
