Johnny León, MA, AMFT

The experience and adventure of therapy is both transformational and revealing. It offers the opportunity to not only reflect on who you are and who you’ve been, but also to step into new understandings of yourself, the people in your life, and your relationship to the world around you. Under the guidance of a trained professional and within the secure space of therapy you can begin, or return to, a journey that has awaited you.

As a first-generation American born and raised here in the Bay Area, I come into this work with the knowledge and first-hand experience of navigating a world that feels both familiar yet distant. This dynamic naturally has instilled in me a curious and reflective nature that I utilize in this work. My concern for the stories that people bring into our therapeutic space allows me to speak to the subtext of what is being shared, to wonder with people about overlooked or even unseen truths about their experience. This process can be illuminating and provide perspectives that you have yet to come across.

Whether what you are seeking is support for yourself, a relationship, navigating difficult choices, seeking larger truths or meanings in your experience, or any other ever-present thoughts, my practice is to embrace your personhood and to support navigating your experience, together.
