Life can be difficult and confusing at times. Taking the step to start therapy can be a challenging experience when you are leaving your comfort zone, towards the life you want and deserve. Although difficult, therapy is enriching and rewarding when the fit is good. I believe that there is a different lid for every pot, but that every pot has a lid. When finding a therapist you have to make sure the fit is right for you. I am a person centered therapist who wants to provide a positive experience for my clients. I support couples and individuals of all ages, genders and sexual orientations, seeking to make a change in their life. I hold value in the belief that everyone has their own internal strength to solve their inner conflict. Sometimes it takes a different perspective to support you towards taking steps to improve your quality of life. Whether it is counseling focused on building hard skills or exploring the implications of life events, we can co-create an experience that is custom to your own unique needs. We find where old, unhelpful ways of getting our needs met can be replaced with more positive behaviors. My approach is Strengths-Based and Attachment Theory oriented, serving to guide us as we explore the rollercoaster of life. I would love to support you in actualizing your goals, whether that be in individual or couple’s therapy.
